“Something’s Missing from the World” is an ancient Onculiey song, written long before their revolution. The Onculiey seem reckon that it was roughly fourteen generations prior, but there is no way to prove this. Like all Onculiey music, it was written for their simple traditional instruments. This version has been played on more modern instruments. The language has also been updated for modern audiences.

The original recordings were damaged by their streets being bombed during the Onculiey revolutionary effort. The rebellion left much of their culture difficult to decipher, but this song has been pieced together from the recordings left behind. The song is written in what modern musicians call 3/4 time, the usual standard for folk music in Onculiey culture.
